The reason Beth chose the name Om is because of the peace she feels when meditating on the sound of Om. She decided that same level of peace and tranquility should be brought into the salon. "Every time people say Om they get a little piece of Heaven and that's what I want people to feel when they visit my salon."​

​

There was a salon previous to Om being there. When Beth arrived the first thing she noticed was the esthetics needed an overhaul. She considered everything from wall color, art work, jazz piano music, natural wood and live plants. Anything she could think of to tap into the 5 senses and create a sense of peace.

​

Not only that she has high ethical and sustainable standards. "I really take the health and well being of everyone seriously." This is prevalent with the products she chooses (primarily EU certified, vegan), proper recycling, even a state of the art air purification system.

 

Additionally, stylists at Om salon receive regular mentorship so they can really thrive in the industry. The staff undergoes regular training. They also have access to free wellness benefits.
