Who We Are...
​Q: What makes Om Hair Salon unique compared to other salons?
A: Adaptive education, coaching, branding and collaborations to gain exposure and up your game. We like to work with artists who are ambitious and want to build their clientele FAST. Sitting in the heart of a college campus we stay very busy and as a luxury salon we attract great clients!

A: A safe and supportive space with high vibes creating a relaxing, professional, yet fun atmosphere. This is a place where creatives grow and become more clear on what aligns most for YOU.

Q: What kind of clientele do you typically serve?
A: 50% of our clientele is from the Charlotte and surrounding areas while the other half are comprised of students and staff at UNCC. We are an "International salon", attracting people from all walks of life who are literally from every country in the world. Italy, Spain, Denmark, China, Brazil, Canada to name a few. It's really cool to learn about the different cultures and we never run into language translation problems because they are typically fluent or sometimes will bring a friend if they need a translator.

Q: Are you currently hiring, and what positions are available?
A: Yes, we currently have part time and full time positions available for licensed cosmetologists. The salon is new so currently we have 4 booths available.​

Q: What qualities do you look for in new team members?
A: Someone who is team oriented and really wants to grow personally and professionally. This is most important and is the reason we chose to offer a blended pay structure. We work with you to be sure we are growing with you so you don't have to salon hop. This salon is a sanctuary where people connect and grow together.

Q: Do you offer booth rent or commission? What does the pay structure look like?
A: We offer a blend. Salary plus commission to stylists who wish to build their clientele and if/when they've advanced to desire booth rent, we have that option as well. This industry grows and changes. The right fit is most important and we chose to prioritize people's individual growth needs to attract the right fit.
