Who We Are...
​Q: What makes Om Hair Salon unique compared to other salons and barber shops?
A: We offer adaptive education, coaching and branding, and collaborations to gain exposure and up your game. We are an independent (Indie) collective, which means, we like to work with stylists and barbers who enjoy the growth opportunities the industry provides.
Q: Why an Indie collective?
A: When the salon was purchased as a commission salon, it was quickly realized the business model did not match the vibe intended. Beth, owner and CEO, is a free-spirited hairdresser who began working her way up in the industry at the age of 16. She became a nationally recognized Master Colorist through her journey and understands the necessity of freedom for any artist.

A: We offer a safe and supportive space with a high vibe team, creating a relaxing, professional, yet fun and playful atmosphere. We pride ourselves on being a place where creatives can grow and serve in a way that is most in alignment with their gifts.

Q: What kind of clientele do you typically serve?
A: 50% of our clientele is from the Charlotte and surrounding areas while the other half are comprised of students and staff at UNCC. We are a multicultural salon, attracting people from all walks of life.

Q: Are you currently hiring, and what positions are available?
A: Yes, we have 3 positions available for hairdressers and/or barbers.

Q: Do you offer flexibility in scheduling?
A: We are hiring full time and part time talent.

Q: Are employees booth rent or commission?
A: Both! We offer commission to stylists who wish to build their clientele, and if/when they've advanced to desire booth rent, we have that option as well.

Q: What experience is required to work at Om Hair Salon?
A: All levels of licensed experience are welcome.
